Introduction to Reduction Lino Printing
Learn how to make a two to three colour reduction lino print, where one piece of lino is used multiple times in one print, as the lino plate is recut after each colour printed.

Not only an introduction but also a chance to develop themes over several evenings. Processes may include dry point, monotype, relief prints from lino, optionally solar plate etching. No previous experience is required. Returners are also welcome, plus students wishing to supplement their studies elsewhere.

Tote Bags Screen Printing Workshop
Use the technique of screen printing to print your own design onto tote bags. You will learn how to make a photo-stencil by coating the screen with light sensitive emulsion and exposing your design onto it. You will also use a vacuum bed and learn registration techniques to enable you to print a one or two coloured design onto tote bags.
Suitable for beginners and those looking to refresh their skills.
Please note there is an additional charge for tote bags and you will need to have a design suitable for screen printing onto fabric.

Introduction to Silk Screen Printing
Come along and learn how to screen print in the Printmakers studio. The day covers the whole process from start to finish and everyone will have a chance to print something to take home. The course is open to individual preferences and is an informative, fun and friendly day. Enjoy a day of inkiness.

Making Concertina books using lino Printing and blind Embossing
Working from an image of your choice for inspiration we will cut a lino block, make blind embossings and lino prints. These prints will then used to make up into an A5 simple concertina book for you to take home.

Silk Screen & Textile Printing Course
The course will cover everything you need to get started. You will learn how to coat a screen with photosensitive emulsion, exposure the screen on a UV light box, develop and wash out your image, and finally how to print your image onto paper or textile using water based inks.
