Set up in 1982, Birmingham Printmakers has a large well-lit workshop in Digbeth. It is available to all artists, specialist and non-specialist printmakers.

We have 34 members and a voluntary committee of twelve, which runs the general day to day business.

We have a dark room, an aquatint room and an open studio floor with equipment for intaglio and relief printing, screen printing, lithography, polyester plate litho, and solar plate etching.

Much of the equipment is lottery funded. We are five minutes from Moor Street Station and the Custard Factory. Visiting printmakers are always welcome. We have regular workshops in all types of printmaking and take part in exhibitions throughout the country and abroad.
